The Short Version

• The Housing Resource Center (HRC) is owned and operated by University Housing Resources, LLC, a Maryland company.
  
  
• You must be a current or prospective student or employee of University of Minnesota Twin Cities to use this service.
  
  
• You pay nothing to use the HRC. Using it, you can locate housing, roommates and information helpful to you in living on or off campus. We may change the service from time to time. UHR shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from the use or the inability to use the HRC.
  
  
• Your privacy is important to us. UHR will not provide specific information about you to anyone unless you ask us to, or we are directed to because of legal action. We may provide information in aggregate form to our partners. You must keep your username and password private.
  
  
• You need a Web browser and an Internet connection to use the HRC.
  
  
• The e-mail system provided within the HRC Roommate Finder section is to be used only for initial contact with potential roommates. UHR will delete older messages when space is needed by the system. Except for those to whom e-mail is sent, other users of the HRC cannot read your messages, but HRC staff can.
  
  
• If you send offensive messages or otherwise abuse the HRC we can terminate your use.
  
  
• The HRC can make use of "cookies" to validate your login. Cookies are used by Web servers to store information about your use of the server on your own computer where it can only be retrieved by the same server at a later date; in our case we only use them during your visit with us. We do not use cookies to permanently store information on your computer. If you are concerned about cookies, visit www.cookiecentral.com.
  
  
• Notice: The HRC is not part of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities web site. University of Minnesota Twin Cities accepts no responsibility for the content of the HRC. Furthermore, University of Minnesota Twin Cities offers no warranties, guarantees, or assurances regarding any materials, goods or services obtained by use of UHR's Housing Resource Center.
