As I write this blog post, the temperature is still well below freezing, but the days are already getting longer and spring is clearly on its way! So, it's time to take a look at the new watch collections for 2026. What are the latest trends? And which colors will best complement your summer outfits? You can read all about it in this article.

Mini watches

In recent years, we've gradually shifted from oversized watches to smaller ones, and this spring, the size of small watches is even more extreme; what really stands out is the large number of teenytiny (women's) watches in the new collections. Small but mighty!

Ring Watches

The ultimate in small watches is the second noticable trend: ring watches. These include truly functional micro-versions of existing watches, such as the G-Shock ring watches, or new, smaller designs like the Skagen SKW3180 with its shell-shaped flip-lid and the stylish Michael Kors Darrington ring with crystals.

Bracelet-style watches

Jewelry also inspires many "normal"-sized watches. Bracelet-style watches with a link chain, decorative elements, or bangles are both a standalone piece of jewelry and a watch in one.

Square watches

A trend that has been around for a while is the popularity of rectangular and square watches. This is reflected in the 2026 collections; many new models are square or have a similar shape.

The trend colors of spring 2026

While watch colors generally remain fairly traditional, some new trends are emerging. One color we're seeing in several brand collections is a deep blue-green called "petrol" or "teal." Another common color is a muted denim blue. These two colors are particularly prevalent in men's watches.

For women, too, the colors this season are generally softer and warmer than in previous seasons. Think dusky pink, plum, and green.
